Fort Belvoir Golf Club, conveniently located just south of Washington DC, offers a truly exceptional golfing experience. The original North 18 was designed in part by Robert Trent Jones. Thomas Ault Clark and Associates completed the expansion to our current 36 holes at the north complex. Today, the Fort Belvoir Golf Club is among the finest military golf facilities in the world. Our PGA professional staff takes great pride in providing outstanding service.
- Two championship 18-hole golf courses, the Woodlawn and the Gunston courses, are open to all authorized patrons.* Tee times are available by telephone.
- A spacious Clubhouse featuring Niblick's Clubhouse Grill and the Clubhouse Lounge that offer not only a great view, but a variety of food and drink specials.
Please be aware that the Golf Club may close earlier than the posted hours because of weather, or other conditions beyond our control.
Guidelines
The Golf Club wants your experience at Fort Belvoir to be one of the best the Army has to offer. In order to achieve this goal and maintain course conditions that are suitable and expected by everyone we serve, we request your assistance by following the club rules and guidelines. ADA Adherence
The North 36 Golf Club prides itself on being fully accessible to individuals with disabilities and carts for transportation around the grounds are available. Staff is available to assist patrons upon request.
- Gate Access Information

Patrons will be granted access to Fort Belvoir for the duration of the membership purchased. New members will be sponsored through the Fort Belvoir Golf Club and will need to provide a valid state driver's license, a current vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
To receive your gate access pass, members must visit Tulley Gate or acquire a visitor's pass online. For more information, you may call the Visitor Center at +1 (703)806-4892.

The Golf Club offers a great golfing experience for daily play as well as large and small golf outings! Morning rates are in effect from 7 a.m. - 12 p.m. Mid-day rates are in effect from 12 - 4 p.m. Twilight rates are in effect every day beginning at 4 p.m., from April – October. The Fort Belvoir Golf Club offers golf instruction to include: teaching, coaching and club fitting. Call or visit the Golf Club for more information. Annual membership plans include unlimited green fees for the defined golf year. Annual is defined as April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026. Enrollment is open throughout the year. Fees are prorated after April 30.

From beginner to avid golfer, the Fort Belvoir Golf Club staff will customize your individual program to maximize your golf experience.
The Golf Club offers experienced PGA Class "A" golf instruction to help you in all parts of the game including:

Get Golf Ready!
The Fort Belvoir Golf Club offers group golf clinics for beginners that will cover everything needed to get started. Learn to play golf in a fun, casual environment.
The cost for the clinic is $120 for 5 sessions. Golf clubs, balls, and other equipment are included in the cost.
Sessions are held once a week for 5 weeks and cover:
- Putting
- Chipping
- Pitching
- Full Swing
- Etiquette.

In order to reserve a tee time online, you must first contact the Pro Shop at +1 (703)806-5878 ext. 108/109 to obtain a pin number. You will then use this assigned pin number every time you make an online tee time.
Installation visitors may encounter delays at the Visitor Center. Please plan accordingly.
